TarWheel Cycling 2026

The TarWheel Cycling Event returns to Elizabeth City in 2026 for its 31st year! Cyclists from across North Carolina and beyond will enjoy scenic routes along the Albemarle Sound, historic downtown streets, and the beautiful countryside. Known as one of the most popular cycling events in Eastern North Carolina, the TarWheel Ride offers a fun and memorable experience for riders of all levels.
