This talented lineup will have you rocking the night away, gather your friends and celebrate the New Year. Jan. 29 – Open Mic Night It’s your turn to take the mic! Do you sing, play an instrument, write poetry or make people laugh with your amazing sense of humor? If so, Ghost Harbor Brewing Company is the place to share your talent and creativity. Jan. 31 – Friday Night Music at the Brewery featuring Gravitation Native to Ahoskie, NC, Gravitation’s sound is melodic vocals, intricate and hard-hitting guitar riffs and throbbing temp variations. Dec. 31 – New Year’s Eve with Corey Bradford and New Year’s Eve Dance Party You’ll swoon as Corey croons in a wonderful evening of music and dance at Arts of the Albemarle. Immediately following, ring in 2020 at the New Year’s Eve Dance Party. Drink champagne and dance into the new year! Jan. 3 – Friday Night Music at the Brewery featuring Mercy Creek Cheryl Nystrom and Jim Ball combine elements of modern folk, world beat, rock, and hints of blues and bluegrass to create music that is fresh and unique. Be sure to catch their show at Ghost Harbor Brewing Company. Jan. 3 – First Friday ArtWalk Artists of all types are showing off their talents during First Friday ArtWalk. As you explore the Downtown Elizabeth City galleries and stores, you may catch some musicians sharing their music. Jan. 4- Saturday Night Live featuring featuring Phil Watson Grab a beer and enjoy some music at Hoppin’ Johnz New South Cuisine. Enjoy the eclectic style and Phil’s hypnotic vocals as he takes acoustic guitar to a whole new level. Jan. 8 – Music Bingo Gather your friends and test your music knowledge playing Music Bingo at Ghost Harbor Brewing Company. This isn’t your grandma’s bingo, cards are similar but the game is way cooler because it is music themed. Grab your favorite dauber and maybe grandma too! Jan. 10 – Friday Night Music at the Brewery featuring Jonas Heard Staying true to his roots, Jonas is a southern gentleman who puts a little twang and a little soul into today’s hits and yesterday’s classics. Sing along with your own style of twang at Ghost Harbor Brewing Company. Jan. 11 – The Daniel Jordan Band This band always rocks the house with their amazing talent, excellent song lineup and great stage presence! See them live at Paradiso Roma Ristorante, where they’ll get the crowd moving by blending rock, country, southern rock. Jan. 11 – Saturday Night Live featuring Baker Street A local favorite at Hoppin’ Johnz New South Cuisine, this trio will have you singing along to music that spans both eras and genres. Lead singer Joanne’s energy fills the room as she belts out the tunes. Jan. 11 – Coasters Downtown Draught House hosts Phil Watson Grab a drink and enjoy some music at Coasters. Enjoy the eclectic style and Phil’s hypnotic vocals as he takes acoustic guitar to a whole new level. Jan. 17 – Friday Night Music at the Brewery featuring Hustle Souls Hustle Souls is an Asheville, NC based groove-centric, emotionally driven soul/rock band with a lust for songwriting and fervid live performance. Jan. 18 – Saturday Night Live featuring Win Winslow and Don Hamlett If you love acoustic rock, trop rock, country and blues, mark this on your calendar. Enjoy some acoustic tunes, tall tales, and libations as this duo strums out the classic hits at Hoppin’ Johnz New South Cuisine.
